DIY New Years Eve Crown

This DIY New Years Eve crown is not only an accessory for the kids, but also an activity to help pass the time before midnight. You can simply print off the download below and attach a ribbon to the back, or add some glitz with pom poms to jazz it up. I like to use black, gold, and silver as my New Years’ Eve colors, and you can have the kids outline with markers, and use a hot glue gun to glue on the pom-poms.

Below is my daughter placing gold poms onto the silver crown. I love a little contrast, too.

I didn’t have a thick ribbon on hand, but I was happy that the thin version worked just fine. It’s actually balloon string from a spool I had.
