New Year’s Resolutions | Mom Minute

New Year’s resolutions are something that are easy to write down, but very difficult to finish. Nobody is perfect in this, and neither am I.New Year's Resolutions{Nobody profits more by this than gyms or fitness classes with annual memberships!}

With a family of eight now, I have had to find ways to keep things moving forward and a lot of that is centered on our scheduling and our own individual and family goals.

In some ways, we likely defeat ourselves up front with some fairly lofty New Year’s resolutions, like lose 30 pounds, or pay off the car.

It is important to not only set the goal, but write down a plan for it. Break it down into smaller, measurable and easily-achievable goals. Place those goals in somewhere where you can see it every day.

In today’s episode of Mom Minute, I give additional ideas for what I do to help me accomplish my goals. Feel free to watch The Mom’s View Mom Minute episode below…

  1. this comment doesn’t really pertain to new year resolutions or anything but I was looking at your videos and I noticed that one of the causes you believe in is mornom.org, is that because you are Mormons yourself?
    I have no problem with it, I myself am wiccan but different religious views might be a good topic to discuss on mom minute.

  2. Thanks Mindy for that video cause I’m 14 and I been bullied REALLY bad and even threaten by the girls and its been really tough and I haven’t been trusting ANYONE in my family and I can’t tell the teachers or I’m called a stitch and will be bullied even worst so that you for the advise I’ll try to remember it <3

    1. Hi. I just read your comment and really wanted to reply. Since you got bullied alot you really should tell someone. It doesnt matter if you dont trust family. They are the ones who have brought you up and I am saying this being only 11. Look, I have seen someone being bullied in front of me and you know what, i helped stop it. The girl who was my friend, we told her sister who my friend didnt trust but still stop the bullies. Tell your cousin or at least a friend you think wont spread it. Dont let words take you down. Please!
