Cute Girls Hairstyles on Good Things Utah!

Exciting news!!! A news station here in Utah, ABC 4 News has a morning show called Good Things Utah where the hostesses highlight the best things about or in Utah.  I watch it all the time, and they are always featuring unique and fun new mompreneurs.  My husband wrote in as a suprise to me and they responded within hours, inviting Adopt a ‘Do – Cute Girls Hairstyles to be featured on the show! (I have friends whose companies have been on the waiting list for a long, long time! Sorry girls!)  On the segment, I will be showcasing some of our most popular hairstyles as well as demonstrate how to do them on my girls.

Good Things Utah

Nicea, Angie, Reagan, and Marti are an absolute hoot to watch, and have expressed after reviewing my site that they are anxious to learn a few cute and easy hairstyles for girls. They particularly loved the concept of my hairblog, that it is blended with adoption and miracle baby placements, and that the hair tutorials are free to all moms who are looking to spend a few minutes of quality 1-on-1 time with their daughters each morning!

The studio filming date is on May 14th, but I’m already really nervous!!! So… I thought it might help to have some loyal followers in the audience to support me! Here’s the link where you can request tickets to see the show filmed live in studio!  If you are in or around Utah (SLC) and would like to attend the show, I would love to see as many of you there as possible!  You could make a ‘Girls Weekend’ of it and spend some wonderful shopping time in downtown SLC!

  1. Congrats Mindy!! I have been following your blog for a while now. Love the hair ideas and I am excited for your tv debut!!

  2. One of my favorite things is that my daughter can get on your blog (from my blog) and find a 'do when she wants something new. It's a kid-friendly site and I appreciate that.

  3. Laura WIlkinson: I was looking at my comment I left and noticed that I typed that I am not a proud follower. That is SOOO not true, I am a VERY PROUD follower. I am soooo sorry, I have no idea how the "not" got typed in there.

  4. I'm so excited to finally see you on there!!! I actually sent Nicea an email and suggested she get in touch with you too. I LOVE their show and can't wait to see you on there.

  5. One of my favorite things are the different flower hair clips. They have such a mass variety of ways you can make them now. Me and my girls have had fun making our own to match cute little outfits.

  6. That's awesome! I love GTU! I have been checking out your blog for a while. A friend referred me to it about a year or so ago. My hubby and I are hoping to adopt and were just recently chosen by a birth mom to adopt a baby girl due in July. I can't wait to try out your hairstyles on her when she is older. I registered for tickets on the shows website, so hopefully I will see you there!

  7. I want to cry! I want to go SO bad but my dd have field day that day and I have signed up to help. They wouldn't be happy if I bailed on them.

  8. Laura Wilkinson: One of my Favorite things are the color hair attachments that you can get at Sally's, Oh, and my girls LOVE glitter spray.

  9. No Way!! I'm sick with excitement and nervousness for you! You'll do great and I can't wait to watch the show. Will it air the same day it is taped? Let me know so I can set my DVR! Don't count this as an entry because I'm not sure I can make it up there (although I would love to) I just wanted to tell you congrats!

  10. Oh what exciting news! Contratulations! I get so many compliments on the different hairstyles…seriosly everywhere we go. Thanks so much… I love the step by step video tutorials.

  11. I would soo love to come visit and see your segment but it's a bit far for me from over here! (I'm still waiting for somebody to invent something like beaming to places for real!) Anyway, I absolutely LOVE your blog! I don't comment much, but I visit it ALOT of times and have used a lot of your ideas! You're the best in explaining how to do it! Thanks for being there! And I love to read about the adoption too, we tried to adopt a few times but over here it is a lot harder and then when we were close to getting one, I got pregnant, so we had to postpone. We'll see what life brings!

  13. Congratulations. I love your blog, and have followed it forever. I really appreciate what you have done for teaching me how to do my daughter's hair. I think it really does boost their self imagine, and thus their self esteem when little girls feel pretty. I would love to come in the audience, but this is two days before my due date (another girl that will benefit from your blog!) But, good luck, and I'll be watching from home!

  14. What a wonderful thing have happen! I've been doing these cute hairstyles on my girls for 2 weeks now. It's definately made a huge difference in our one on one time. The best thing about your site is the variety. I'm constantly finding new hairstyles. One of my daughters has a very tender head. All the twists hairstyles have been perfect for her because it doesn't hurt "as bad" LOL Thank you again.
