Items Needed: Brush, rat-tail comb, spray bottle, 2 ponytail holders, 2 small bobby pins, pink and blue colored hairspray cans {if desired}.
Time Requirement: 10 minutes
Skill Level: Medium
Step-By-Step Instructions:
- To create texture and fullness, I started by adding soft curls to all of the hair.
- Part the hair down the middle.
- Using temporary hair color, spray ends of hair pink or blue. One side pink, one side blue. In the photos you can see how far up we sprayed. This is not meant to cover all of the hair.
- Start on one side, pull a small piece of hair out in the front, then pull the remaining hair up into a high ponytail.
- Repeat step 4 on other side of hair.
- Take a small piece of hair from each ponytail and wrap it around the elastic. Secure with a bobby pin.
- To add fullness to the ponytails, go back and back comb/tease the hair. This hairstyle is supposed to be wild & messy.
