For about five months now I have been blog-stalking this blogging mamma, Hollie, who buys vintage farm furniture from estate sales or second-hand stores and then refurbishes and sells the pieces. I have been coveting from a distance, but just recently saw this distressed piece that would fit perfectly in my newly designed master bedroom right beneath our oval ‘tiqued mirror…
Anyone who knows me understands that I have a flair for the “eclectic”. I love mixing old with new. Our entire house has antiques splashed about with new, current things. I simply had to have this, so we drove on a whim next door to Idaho and picked it up! Now, can you believe this??? This piece of furniture is actually an old record player console (solid wood)… like the ones you grew up seeing in grandma and grandpa’s house!!! Here it is in my house.
Hollie also just recently sold an amazing distressed TV armoir that I somehow missed for … $175!!!
So… I hesitated for weeks in sharing this link, because now I am worried that you will all buy their refurbished pieces before I can get to them! Giving up my selfish desires, I simply had to share this with you!
If you are not lucky enough to make a trip to Pocatello, ID, you can at least drool like I do from a distance and get some ideas from Hollie and Jared on how to refurbish your own second-hand finds!
Enjoy!

I just watched you on Good Things Utah. I have one grown daughter who is pregnant with her 3rd. She just might get a girl this time and I wanted to remember your blog, so I can tell her about it.
Oh! And I am a follower of Lil Holly’s blog. She and her hubby do wonderful work. I just might have to take a drive up to Poci for one of her fabulous redo’s.
Tee hee! Count me in among the droolers. I'm over 1,200 miles away from Pocatello, Idaho, but at least it is a pile of fantastic ideas! I don't mind you sharing it at all!
