So You Like the Video Tutorials, Huh???

Wow! Since my last two posts were done as video tutorials… it is very clear via your comments here and on You Tube that you like video tutorials better than the step-by-step photo instructions! Please do shout out if you all agree!!! Your reactions and comments have been amazing! I will certainly post more videos! (If there is one hairdo in particular that you simply have not been able to recreate, please do comment here and I will see what I can do.)

For those of you who do not know, I use the Flip Video Camera on all my videos. Here is a photo of what it looks like…

Flip Video Camera
It is so small to carry (2.2″ x 4.2″ x 1.2″; 12 ounces), convenient to use, and you can quickly plug it into the USB on your computer. From there, the automatically loaded software helps you upload the video directly online to You Tube or AOL without you having to do much at all! It lets you email video clips also.

My husband recieved this as a gift from work last November and it has had its fair share of use in our home! Those of you family blog owners out there should seriously consider using this Flip to share video moments as well as photos with friends and family! It has been fun to use! Since you can take stills from the video taken, we take this on hiking trips and other outings where dragging my Rebel XT and camcorder is not convenient! If you like it, you can read more and/or purchase this camera on a great sale *here*.

Again, I will post another hairdo soon and will also be starting another giveaway! Check back very soon!

Happy Hairdoing!

  1. Hi! I’m 15 years old and I’m absolutely obsessed with your videos. I have been able to recreate many of your hairdos, with the exception of…… A SIMPLE BUN! I can’t understand how you create such perfects bun with just elastics, I’ve tried with bobby pins and elastics and none of them have work!
    I’ll keep practicing.

    Saludos desde México!

  2. I have never been able to do much more than a simple braid with my daughter's hair. Thanks to your site, I have successfully learned how to french braid. My personal favorite hairstyles are the twist back and the french braid wrap around. Thanks so much for your awesome site!!
