Quadruple-Flipped Ponytail #2 | Easy Hairstyles

Some of you may remember about a month ago where we showed you a very simple, yet beautiful Quadruple-Flipped Ponytail hairstyle.  Today, we are showing you a second way to create this cute ponytail but using a different technique and with a softer look.

What we enjoy about this hairstyle is that is that it looks a lot like a Fishtail Braid, without having to braid it that way!  {Fishtail braids are one of the most time-consuming braid techniques.}  I also did this on straight hair, to get the softer look that we really wanted.

You can use a Topsy Tail tool if you really want to, but the flips were large enough that I did them with my fingers instead.  That preference is totally up to you.

When we were finished filming, my husband said that this one is easy enough that we should add it to our “Daddy Do” hairstyle list! To prove it, he recreated the style for me! My only regret was that we did not have him film the tutorial!

This hairstyle is perfect for sports, especially if you wet down the hair first and pull the flips tighter than I had done.

If you have longer hair, you can also continue adding flips to the hair… one fan on YouTube said that she was able to get in 7 flips!

Enjoy!

Items Needed: Brush, rat-tail comb, spray bottle, 5-6 clear hair elastics, Topsy Tail tool {or use your fingers}, hairspray and accessory {if desired}.

Time Requirement: 5 minutes

Skill Level: Easy

Happy Hairdoing!
