I LOVE dutch braids! They’re super cute and fit great with any occasion! Check out 3 of my favorite dutch braids.
Double Dutch Buns
Looking for a go-to short hairstyle?! Then this is the one for you. This look has been one of Bailey’s favorites. Bailey loves the look of space buns, but with her short hair, she doesn’t have the length to pull those off. If we tried, we had waterspout pigtails on top, which is the opposite of space buns. Several months ago, Bailey played around with her hair when she stumbled upon something that works very well – moving the buns to the base of the head gave her just enough length for a bun. You can achieve This look with Dutch or French Braids, whichever you prefer!
Items Needed: Brush, rat-tail comb, spray bottle, 2 ponytail elastics, 5-6 small bobby pins, hairspray

Dutch Lace Braid Combo
If you’re looking for a beautiful braid hairstyle this summer for long hair, the Dutch Lace Braid Combo is a perfect style! The Inspiration for this hairstyle came from the show “Vikings” on the History Channel and my friend JennisHairDays on Instagram. The Dutch Lace Braid Combo uses a French Braid, Lace Braids (where you only pick up hair from the top), and simple 3-strand braids. You can add curls or waves to hair as a base, but I find that the braids pop more without the added texture. Before starting the French Braiding, I added a quick backcomb to the top section for volume, but you do not have to do so. This cute hairstyle will work on long hair and medium hair. It is perfect for girls of all ages and holds up well during a long day of activity.
Items Needed: Brush, rat-tail comb, spray bottle, 3 hair elastics, hairspray, or dry wax
Time Requirement: 8-10 minutes
