*Note from Mindy: Congratulations to Kenzie for being our January’s Hairdoer of the Month!!! She just turned 13 last month, and came up with this hairstyle for her little sister on her own! Bless her heart, each photo file was 4MB in size so it had to take her forever to upload the photos and send them to me by email! Her little sister is so lucky to have such a wonderful big sister to do her hair. Please join with me to congratulate Kenzie! (She will also receive 20 extra entries into our next giveaway!)

Rows of Three
Hello, My name is Kenzie, I will be 13 this month , and I do my little sister’s hair. This hairdo is called ‘Rows of Three’.
Items Needed: Comb, brush, water bottle (if her hair is not wet), 21 small elastics, bow.
Time Requirement: 20 to 25 minutes.
Skill Level: Medium
First, part hair down the middle and right behind ears. Make 3 temporary ponytails…
Now take one of the sections and part it into three more sections…
Next take one of the three sections and make a small square at the bottom…
Then make another square, but add the bottom pony to it (should look like this)…
After that, do the same thing with the last piece and don’t forget to add the pony under it…
Now do the same thing to the other two sections (should now look like this)…
Now for the other side of head, do the exact same thing as you did before. Then when you have six ponytails on top, take the front two and put them in an elastic…
Do the same with the next two ponytails, but add the top one in…
And the same thing for the last one…
Now take out the bottom temporary pony, brush hair, add a bow… and your done!!

My daughter has a chin length bob and this hairstyle works really well on short hair as well as long hair. we are considering getting some clear ponytail holders and using this hairstyle for her dance recital. this style requires no use of hair product.
