The Bun-Hawk | Crazy Hair Day

If this hairstyle doesn’t make you giggle, I don’t know what will! This probably isn’t the hairdo you use to send your darling daughters to church, but it sure is a fun, silly do!

Use it for a game day do, a crazy hair day at school, or just for lots of comments and stares. My hubby came up with this one! (I have a few other Crazy Hair Day hairstyles listed on this blog.)

Step-By-Step Instructions:

  1.  Start with wet, brushed hair.
  2. Begin by parting a large rectangular section of hair in the middle of head. Secure this section with a rubber band.
  3. Twist the hair around the rubber band until it creates a bun. Secure the bun by wrapping a rubber band around the whole thing. Now section hair all the way around the head about 2 inches above both ears. **You will ultimately have 4 sections so keep this in mind.**
  4. Secure hair with a rubber band in the center of back of head.
  5. Twist hair around to create a bun and add a rubber band to secure. Section the remaining hair in half. Secure each section with a rubber band (to create ponytails).
  6. Now twist the hair around and around till you get buns.

  1. I also wish you could do my hair for when it is crazy hair day at my school, because if my mom sees your video she is going to have to keep watching it to get it in her system.Plus today is my last day for spring break and I am going to my friend’s house and I want to do this crazy hairstyle so I can see the look on her face when she greets me at the door! But my mom is working the night shift and I am terrible at doing hair,i only have a few hours left. Also it is time to eat lunch I can’t focus on hair with a empty stomach, type to you later. BYE!

  2. Please make more videos, you inspire me, but I know no matter how hard I try you will always be better than me! But that is okay because that is your personal talent, and my personal talent is dancing, singing, art,and being a good fashion designer!

Your kids must be super popular with the coolest hairstyles in the whole class,or maybe even the whole school.Every time I ask my mom to do my hair she is always busy but you make time for your kids(especially for their hair!)I am a huge fan of yours and wish you to could do my hair like that.I especially like the way you braid I don’t know how to braid, and I an 10! Go on tell me that is crazy, but it is true.I would not even bother my mom if I knew how to do hair like you,( I bet my mom would be asking me!) I watch your videos everyday, and wonder will I ever be as good as you?
