Items Needed: Brush, rat-tail comb, spray bottle, bobby pins, hair elastics, hairspray {if desired}.

Time Requirement: 5-8 minutes

Skill Level: Medium

Step-By-Step Instructions:

  1. Create a part from the front going back to the nape of the neck. (about 2″ above the ear) Do this on both sides of the head.
  2. Secure the middle section into a ponytail resting at the top/back of the head.
  3. Divide the ponytail in half and clip one side out of the way temporarily.
  4. Starting on one side of the head/lower section (the side that you left half ponytail down) begin a french braid.  When you add in hair from the top, pick up hair from the ponytail.
  5. Your braid should rest on your part line to cover the line.
  6. When you run out of new hair to add in, continue braiding to the end of the hair and secure with a small elastic.
  7. Repeat steps 4-6 on the other side of the head.
  8. Pick up one braid and wrap up around and tuck the ends into the front.
  9. Repeat with second braid.
  10. Secure braids with bobby pins.
  11. Finish with hairspray {if desired}.
